What we collect
When you enquire, we receive your name, email address, store website, selected service, and any phone number or message you choose to provide. The form may also record the first page you visited, the page and link that brought you to the form, campaign labels in the address and the referring website’s domain. These details are attached only when you submit an enquiry. Please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond, discuss your requirements and take steps at your request before entering a contract. Where your enquiry is made on behalf of a business, we also rely on our legitimate interest in responding to relevant business enquiries. We use limited technical information, such as IP addresses temporarily, to protect the form from abuse.
Who can access it
People authorised to handle UpConvert enquiries, and the hosting and communications providers supporting that work, may process the information for those purposes. We do not sell enquiry data. Handling is based in Romania, within the EEA. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA or UK, applicable transfer safeguards must be used.
How long we keep it
Enquiry information is kept while we are discussing your requirements. If the discussion does not lead to a working relationship, we aim to delete it within 12 months of the last meaningful contact, unless there is a reason to retain it for a legal claim or obligation. Information relating to a client relationship is covered by the arrangements agreed with that client.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion or restriction, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability may apply in certain circumstances. Contact us using the address above. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP, or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office where applicable.
Advertising and cookies
This version of the site does not run advertising pixels or analytics cookies. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Any future use of optional tracking will be reflected in our cookie notice and the relevant controls.
